Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't collect any of your data. Driving Log has no accounts, no servers of its own, no analytics, and no ads.

What the app stores

The app stores what you enter and record — names, birth and permit dates, vehicles, places, drives (including GPS routes, times and distances), skill ratings and notes — on your iPhone.

Location

The app uses your location only while you are logging a drive, to record the route, time and miles. It does not track you at other times.

iCloud sync and sharing

If you turn on Sync to iCloud, your log is stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. If you invite family members, the log is shared only with the people you invite. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; the developer cannot access it.

Exports

PDF and GPX exports are created on your phone and go only where you choose to send them.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove data from your phone. Synced data lives in your iCloud account; you can delete it in iPhone Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, or email us and we'll walk you through it.

Children

The app is intended for families with a teen learner driver, set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. No data is collected by the developer from anyone, including children.
